Embracing a Life of Reflection

Greetings!

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! Like actually, because I have an inner critic that tells me no one is going to read this, so it truly means the world if you are.

I am a Chinese American who has lived in foggy San Francisco all my life (except when I was in Davis for college, go Aggies!). I live with my husband and our two kids, who keep me praying, laughing, and crying around the clock. I am a speech therapist by trade, but am currently working on opening a cafe in my neighborhood, where I hope to cultivate a culture of reflection and expression. I am passionate about writing children’s books and poetry that ground readers in the gospel amidst feelings of sadness, anxiety, and fear. As someone who spent most of their life embarrassed of their voice, I am passionate about helping others to see the beauty in their unique voice.

My faith has led me to my latest endeavor of opening a tea and coffee room in my hometown, where we celebrate the mundane and poetry fuels our days.
