Embracing a Life of Reflection
Greetings!
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! Like actually, because I have an inner critic that tells me no one is going to read this, so it truly means the world if you are.
I am a Chinese American who has lived in foggy San Francisco all my life (except when I was in Davis for college, go Aggies!). I live with my husband and our two kids, who keep me praying, laughing, and crying around the clock. I am a speech therapist by trade, but am currently working on opening a cafe in my neighborhood, where I hope to cultivate a culture of reflection and expression. I am passionate about writing children’s books and poetry that ground readers in the gospel amidst feelings of sadness, anxiety, and fear. As someone who spent most of their life embarassed of their voice, I am passioante about helping others to see the beauty in themselves and how God made them.
In my spare time, you can find me drinking my favorite tie guan yin tea, learning about the history of typewriters, and watering my neglected houseplants.
I love Jesus and I am passionate about helping others meet Jesus through creative writing. I am also passionate about encouraging others to dream, because after all, unto Him, He is able to do far more than we could ever imagine! How exciting is it that we are all part of a greater story, written by the most creative, eloquent, and compassionate Author of all time (literally!)?
